Nick Sanchez

I’m a 25 year old comedian of Peruvian and Italian descent. I was born in Perth Amboy and moved all over New Jersey my whole life. My parents divorced when I was 8 which wasn’t easy but ever since then in many ways life only got harder and harder. But I found humor to be one of the ways I could escape it and get past those hardships. In trying to find who I was I’ve tried and failed, lost or left behind many things. I’ve been a student, a worker, an activist, and despite everything I’ve tried, doing standup comedy is the one thing that brings me the most joy in life. Although I am still struggling, pursuing my dream of working as a standup comedian has given my life purpose.
